As you may already know I've worked directly with Birunda School for the Hearing Impaired since its start in 2008.
I first saw the school when it had just 3 children and one make shift classroom. This has grown beyond my expectations and now boasts 7 classrooms, kitchen, office, workshop, washrooms, toilets and much more. But the best part if that we currently have 43 children attending school.
The problem is that we have run out of room in our dormitories and so need to build a new one. The girls side has been nearly completed and is now used by 22 girls. The boys is yet to be built and this is why I'm doing the climb.
The end result will be a dormitory which can sleep 32 girls, 32 boys, it will have 2 rooms for house parents and internal toilets and showers. All a huge improvement on what we can already offer. Click HERE to see full dormitory plans
