Kitale Rafiki's work has always involved working with children and aims to ensure that children have access to education.

The main focus has been on Birunda Primary School for Hearing Impaired, where we have built the first school in the area specifically for H.I and deaf children. What makes this school even better is that it is built next door to a large government primary school which enables the children from both schools to interact, break down barriers and stereotypes which exist.
As the schools are so close some funds have also been spent at Birunda School on resources, scholarships and medical care.
Elsewhere Kitale Rafiki has worked with disabled children at St Vincent Small Home, Kiminini, providing equipment, food and entertainment.
Birunda Village Community Project and Kitale Street Children have also benefitted from some support, although it would be good to be able to help more.
When in Nairobi with visitors and volunteers Kitale Rafiki takes them to visit two schools in Kibera Slum and provides some funds or resources when needed. Kisumu Dogo and Soweto Academy.
